I know I have been playing up this “surprise” possible transfer addition. I’ll finally spill the beans on who it could end up being. Former five-star and LSU wide receiver Trey Palmer is tentatively scheduled to be in Lincoln for an official visit next weekend. The connections are obvious with Mickey Joseph. The only possible snag is there is a small academic piece he must get taken care in order to get here.
Not only would he add to the wide receiver position, but he would also give NU a proven SEC kick and punt returner. While at LSU he returned both a punt and a kickoff for a touchdown.
Palmer as of today now is listed in the UNL Student Directory, which simply means he's been accepted to NU. All of this is very promising though on Palmer ending up in Lincoln.
