Would already be well coached too.Wowza. This dude would be what we, and everyone else, need.

Wonder about his conditioning or if he had a nagging injury. It looks like he started splitting reps with a Sophomore this year. Which maybe isn’t a great sign. But still has a ton of experience and some accolades.
These kids that can't compete and quit every time they don't get what they want are going to find the real world a struggle.
The door is wide open for him… if Hunter can win the heisman, why can’t Chief?Chief Borders now looking for his fourth school and that elusive Heisman Trophy.
Yep. Then will find legal representation to file a lawsuit against the NCAA for not providing “guidance and support “ to manage the unscrupulous transfer portal. lol. These kids that can't compete and quit every time they don't get what they want are going to find the real world a struggle.
Yep, just crazy. This the guy who signed a Letter of Intent with Florida, and then backed out and sued Billy Napier and a Florida booster for allegedly making false NIL promises to entice him to decommit from Miami and sign with Florida.
No proof, but would not be shocked if GA showed him the door. He seems like a guy who might get too wrapped up with his ‘status’ off the field vs his performance on the field.
it’s going to be interesting to see how many and which QBs they keep as backups. They almost have to keep a couple of the walkons through fall camp before the mandated roster date. Do they keep 5 or 6?Nebraska Football 105-man roster chart
Keep up with Nebraska's current up-to-date scholarship distribution chart as players come and go from the Husker football program.www.on3.com
The 105 man roster reduction is kind of messed up. How many kids will be forced out of college football? A lot is my guess. Thousands.
The more players on a roster creates better competition. A bigger roster with walkons also bring out diamonds in the rough.I don’t understand the hate for the 105 man roster. What’s a travel squad 66 ? so with 105 that gives you 39 more players then you need to play a game which supplies back up and scout team. Anybody over 105 on the depth chart has a very small chance of ever seeing the field. Could actually help us, because we would no longer be using resources on those that have no chance of ever playing.
Why and how are you still here after your tough guy post earlier today? Obviously the mods aren’t monitoring this board today or you would be on a looooong vacation. The more players on a roster creates better competition. A bigger roster with walkons also bring out diamonds in the rough.

My thoughts as well. I wonder if the walk-on program became more of a burden then it was helpful.I don’t understand the hate for the 105 man roster. Because these players didnt know this would happen when they signed on. These are people.I don’t understand the hate for the 105 man roster. Dean Steinkuhler?Clester Johnson....wrong
If you were playing football for Nebraska and you can't find a team in the MAC or Sunbelt, or FCS to give you a scholarship, then you should be D2 or D3 anyway.Because these players didnt know this would happen when they signed on. These are people.
I dont understand how people can shrug shoulders and call his good when this messes with the lives of players doing everything right for DONU instead of going elsewhere. This especially sucks for the freshmen.
That ha nothing to do with my post or that this is B.S. to kids who signed up. I was trying to explain why people are upset about the 105 issue. Its wrong to the players, you know, the ones who actually are in the sport. If you were playing football for Nebraska and you can't find a team in the MAC or Sunbelt, or FCS to give you a scholarship, then you should be D2 or D3 anyway.
I get it. It's screwy times. Hopefully things stabilize. I was kind of surprised they didn't grandfather people in. At the same time, I think most teams were carrying a roster much closer to 105, so probably not that big of deal to them. That ha nothing to do with my post or that this is B.S. to kids who signed up. As I said in other posts, it woulda been fine if they grandfathered them n and made the 105 number “in 4 years” or something, then signees would know what they are getting into.
Plus, freshmen have no tape.
People in power make these kinds of decisions all the time whereby at the stroke of a pen thousands of people are screwed. And it is never a big deal for the people making the decisions, they already "got theirs". I have a friend who worked for a company for many years and has a pension. She got a COLA every year at CPI. About 10 years ago the company CEO who made millions a year cut off pension COLAs. She went from a comfortable retirement to struggling now. Meanwhile that douche bag left the company a year after his decision with a huge severance package. Nothing she can do to fight back. But as far as the 105, especially with no grandfathering, it is just another example of the NCAA lunacy and incompetence. The B1G and SEC ought to form their own governing body and flush the NCAA. Not that it might be better, but hard to imagine it could be worse. That ha nothing to do with my post or that this is B.S. to kids who signed up.
