I thought Cavendish was done. Looked awful first couple of stages. But I was wrong, what a historical win. I guess that was the team plan from the beginning, save all energy for sprint stages, absolutely all as they dropped in the mountain stages early. Great to see practically all the peloton congratulate him as he searched out teammates to thank.
One cool thing that barely got mentioned, someone crashed about 100 m out and the rider behind him bunny hopped right over the crashed rider, pretty impressive for as fast as they were going to do that on a road bike.
