Independence (Kan.) C.C. defensive end Jermaine Johnson is high up on Nebraska's Board for this position in this cycle, and he received his 14th scholarship offer last night from USC.

Johnson's semester at Independence ends May 10, so on his way back home to Minnesota he will be stopping in Lincoln for an unofficial visit on either May 10 or May 11.

The former teammate of JD Spielman is in frequent contact with Husker coaches Scott Frost and Ryan Held, and says he is highly and seriously interested in Nebraska.
