Pretty solid list overall for WRs.

Seventeen of the 28 have started at least one game for the program that they originally signed with.

Six of the 28 have been taken in the 2018 or 2019 NFL Drafts.

Nebraska signed the #28 guy on this list - he finished with better career stats than everyone on this list except for Calvin Ridley (#1 on the list) and Christian Kirk (#3 on the list).

Daylon Charlot, Alabama; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #78 on the Rivals 100, 4th-best prospect in Louisiana; Now at Kansas, where he was a backup WR in 2018; Worked as a backup safety in 2017; Has 13 receptions so far at KU; Sat out 2016 due to NCAA transfer regs; Appeared in five games as a true freshman at Bama in 2015, and had 2 receptions for 9 yards.

10.) Da'Vante Phillips, Florida State; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #89 on the Rivals 100, 16th-best prospect in Florida;
Out of football; Was suspended for the entire 2017 season after being arrested on four charges of "intent to defraud" and one charge of grand theft; According to Leon Circuit Court records, Phillips bought four money orders for a total of $485.89 at the Publix on Ocala Road last January, then altered each to $700, a difference of more than $2,300. He then deposited the altered money orders into his bank account; Appeared in 10 games during his career at FSU and had 5 receptions for 40 yards.

11.) John Burt, Texas; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #93 on the Rivals 100, 17th-best prospect in Florida; Reserve WR for Texas in 2017 and 2018; Started five games in 2016 and started all 12 games as a true freshman in 2015; Has 58 receptions for 844 yards and 4 TDs in his career with one year remaining of eligibility.

12.) Carlos Strickland, Cal; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #132 on the Rivals 250, 17th-best prospect in Texas; Out of football having never played a down; Redshirted at Cal in 2015 and then transferred to K-State; Spent 2016 and 2017 in Manhattan but never saw the field; Left K-State after the 2017 season; Signed an LOI with NAIA Wayland Baptist in February 2018 but never enrolled.

13.) Van Jefferson, Ole Miss; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #138 on the Rivals 250, 5th-best prospect in Tennessee; Now at Florida where he was the Gators' leading receiver (35 catches for 503 yards and 6 TDs) in 2018; Started 3 games at WR for Ole Miss in 2017 and was 2nd on the team with 42 receptions; Was also Ole Miss' 2nd-leading receiver in 2016 with 49 receptions for 543 yards and 3 TDs; Redshirted in 2015.

Tristan Payton, Central Florida; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #142 on the Rivals 250, 22nd-best prospect in Florida; Moved back to WR in 2018 and had two (2) receptions on the season; Spent 2017 as a backup safety after he was suspended for the first 6 games for a positive drug test; Had 23 receptions for 396 yards between 2015 and 2016 as a WR for UCF.

Two-year starter at WR; Led Ohio State with 56 receptions in 2017; Redshirted in 2015; Has 141 receptions for 1,667 yards and 10 TDs through three seasons in Columbus.

19.) Preston Williams, Tennesssee; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #158 on the Rivals 250, 15th-best prospect in Georgia; Was a starting WR at Colorado State in 2018 and was first-team All-Mountain West Conference; Caught 96 passes for 1,345 yards and 14 TDs; Spent two years in Knoxville where he had 16 receptions for 249 yards and two TDs, but ended up in Butch Jones' doghouse; Declared early for the 2019 NFL Draft but was not selected.

20.) Jovon Durante, West Virginia; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #163 on the Rivals 250, 23rd-best prospect in Florida; Now at Florida Atlantic where he was a starting WR for the Owls in 2018; Honorable-mention All-Conference USA; Sat out 2017 due to NCAA transfer regs; Started 17 games through two seasons at West Virginia and had 59 receptions for 709 yards and 7 TDs.

21.) Blake Lynch, Baylor; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, #185 on the Rivals 250, 26th-best prospect in Texas; Starter at both LB and safety in 2018; Has made 18 career starts at 5 different positions (corner, linebacker, safety, wide receiver, running back); Has 51 receptions, 66 tackles, 4 TFL, 1.5 sacks and an interception with one year of eligibility remaining.

Auden Tate, Florida State; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, #194 on the Rivals 250, 32nd-best prospect in Florida; Starting WR for the Seminoles in 2017 and led the ACC with 10 receiving TDs that year; Reserve in 2015 and 2016; Declared early for the 2018 NFL Draft and was taken in the 7th round by the Cincinnati Bengals; Finished career with 65 receptions for 957 yards and 16 TDs.

25.) Lawrence Cager, Miami; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, #240 on the Rivals 250, 4th-best prospect in Maryland; Has started 18 games for the Canes between 2015 - 2018 and took a medical redshirt in 2016; Will be a grad transfer at Georgia in 2019; Leaves Miami with 45 receptions for 681 yards and 10 TDs.

Desean Holmes, San Diego State; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 38th-best prospect in California; Now at Florida Atlantic - his fourth program in four years = where he was a reserve WR in 2018; Quit school a week after enrolling at San Diego State in 2015, then spent 2016 at FCS Southern Utah, and then transferred to College of the Canyons, a California JUCO, in 2017.

27.) Cordell Broadus, UCLA; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 3rd-best prospect in Nevada; Quit football prior to fall camp in 2015 and never played a down; Knuckleheads were hoping that he'd pick Nebraska because his dad is Snoop Dog.
