Yeah that was back in the sit-out-a-year transfer days. Really good player but had lots of off-the-court issues. K-State cut him loose and he landed at Creighton, and had a couple of good seasons.

Feels like Nebraska is 1-15 against the Jays in recent memory. Weird to see some of my fellow Husker brethren making fun of yet another sweet 16 run by the Jays. Cause if the Jays suck, what does that make the Huskers?
I see it this way, I have no ill feelings towards Creighton, I was pulling for them to win and get as far as possible. It's good to see a team from the state of Nebraska get some pub in the big tourney.

How pathetic is it to openly root for another team on the Husker board? Just look at the top of this thread. You see the name up there? It says Husker board. It doesn't say Clarkeyes board. It doesn't say blue jay board. It doesn't say duke board or whatever bandwagon team you want to follow this year. It says Husker board.

My bracket went from 94.xx% prior to the Sweet 16 to 47.xx% on ESPN. Bout time it reflected what I actually know about CBB. Which is to say, zilch.
This here is exactly it. Talking non-stop crap about about the teams that pi$$ pound us more often than not. It’s totally fine to not like the teams around us it is to be expected but to call them trash, dimish their accomplishments when we can’t beat them is why most other schools fans laugh at Nebraska fans so much.
