He's not going to be here for 20 years. He'll leave if there's the right opportunity. And Coach Rhule will wish him well. Might as well accept it.Need to make him the highest paid DC in CFB.
Yes I’m sure it had some to do with choosing him.I've heard many hypothesize that Butler was hired as his replacement. It would make sense. If true, Coach Rhule is a genius.
Rhule has always prioritized good defense and ruin game first it seems. Then hope a Raiola falls in his lap for QB and then rock n rollNebraska has two dudes in waiting.
Rhule will always have a good defense IMO.
No problem accepting it. I just know that White has had his side of the ball humming since day one, this team wouldn’t be anything without him. He's not going to be here for 20 years. He'll leave if there's the right opportunity. And Coach Rhule will wish him well. Might as well accept it.
As a general rule, NU should not be a place for a football coach to learn the nuances becoming a head coach. Neither is Florida or Florida State. Most likely, he will have opportunity to take a lesser job.I doubt if he takes a B1G job but the way Florida, Florida State are looking and depending on what UCLA does... Ooowee
What an odd take.As a general rule, NU should not be a place for a football coach to learn the nuances becoming a head coach. Neither is Florida or Florida State. Most likely, he will have opportunity to take a lesser job.
Edit: but it could be a lesser job in the B1G or SEC. Like Purdue or Iowa.
Agreed, the defense will be just fine as long as Dvoracek and Knighton stick around. Those two groups have shown massive improvement.Nebraska has two dudes in waiting.
Rhule will always have a good defense IMO.
I think Iowa would look at a legacy coach. Somebody like Bielma or Stoops. But I would also be sad to see him go there.I might cry if he goes to Iowa
What’s odd about it? The best HC jobs are generally not available to those without HC experience. The exceptions are in-house promotions taking over after being a part of success. What an odd take.
