Tennessee's recruiting success has been brought up quite a few time. How do they bring in top 15 classes seemingly at will; despite their average record.

From 2013-2016 the state of TN produced 6 five stars and 35 four stars

From 2013-2016 NE,CO,KS,IA,MO combined produced 0 five stars and 36 four stars (MO is responsible for 16 of the four stars).

As seen in tonights game TN had better athletes across the board and again our lack of depth in key positions was exposed. I think its fair to say that the lack of depth can be attributed to recruiting misses.

For a team like TN they are able to afford some recruiting misses due to the amount of instate talent that they produce every year. Those same misses really add up for NU due to the lack of instate talent for NE and the surrounding states.
