Just curious here, was wondering why the Fresno St and Wyoming games are $75 and all the conference games are $65?

Oregon game is $125 which doesn't surprise me other then the fact that in 1968 my father and I paid $6 for a football ticket and that I paid $100 to watch my Huskers in South Bend in 2000 16 years ago.

I can think of one probably and a maybe.

1) maybe - how are Big Ten tucket sales distributed.
2) Probably - Do we pay Big Ten visiting teams? I know we are paying Fresno State and Wyoming. It is that price because they know wee will pay it and partially to cover the cost of paying those teams.

For the ND game the going price was $200---that was the only game where i didnt see any tickets for sale outside the stadium. i paid $125 each for 2 tickets obtained from a husker party i met at a rest stop along the highway in iowa---and i resold one ticket for $200 at the stadium. Great game and there was a 'sea of red." at the stadium.

I paid 1k for two ND tickets in 2001 ....40 yard line about 15 -20 rows up...had a good day gambling so figured why not

Now that I gave more thought about it I believe me and a couple buddy's paid 120 each our tickets were in the opposite end zone were Eric Crouch scored the winning TD and the same side also were ND scored on a Kick Off return.

I need to ask my cousin who has premium seats on the 40 yard line which they pay quit a bit for season tickets if they pay which is on the ticket or do donors that have season tickets pay $ 57 a seat.

My only guess to why the ticket prices are higher for those games is to help pay off the cost of paying a team to come to Lincoln to play?
