Tim Miles met with media today to preview Saturday's season opener vs Mississippi Valley State. Here are some quick notes from what they had to say...

***Miles had no updates on any potential redshirt candidates, nor would he say if there were any possibilities at this point. He said he'll meet with some players later today.

***Miles said there is a definite chance Tanner Borchardt could have a role this season, especially after how well he played at the end of Monday's exhibition. Miles said Borchardt has surprisingly quick feet and could be a nice addition in the screen and roll game.

***Miles said Glynn Watson showed the most nervous during Monday's exhibition win of all the freshmen, and that was something that Watson could only really solve through experience. Miles added that he would meet with Watson before Saturday's season opener to talk about staying calm, but he thinks Watson will be fine once he gets more experience under his belt.

*** with Nebraska's new emphasis on ball movement offensively this season, Miles said no player might benefit more then Tai Webster. Miles said Webster has a new confidence about him this year, and it's translating to his aggressiveness with the ball.

***Miles said he's still unsure about how deep the rotation will be this season. "Sometimes I think we have four, and then sometimes I feel like we have nine."
