We could yet achieve dead last place in two weeks with a little help. That would be an NCAA first. Finishing in 18th place. Never done before I’m sure.
There can’t possibly be another fan base as loyal (or dumb) as us in either pro or college football. The Coliseum located in mammoth Los Angeles had thousands of empty seats, which would be expected anywhere but in Lincoln given the two teams playing. Yet there were tons of NU fans at that meaningless game. Oh yeah, that’s what I think of the hallowed search for 6 wins. Meaningless.
