I'm sorry for all the people that are proud of the effort, or willing to blame the loss on the refs, or believe it's just too tough for any team to win at Camp Randall.
Well I hate to break this to you, but it wasn't too hard for Ohio State to beat Wisconsin on the road two weeks ago? And Nebraska played against a Badger defense Saturday night that was missing its nose tackle and best linebacker (that both played against tOSU).
Face it. This was a "show me" game, and the Huskers showed they still aren't ready for the spotlight.
Sure, they were game, and gave Wisconsin everything they wanted (even forcing overtime). But in a game of inches, Nebraska proved that it was still mentally miles away from taking control of the Big Ten West division, and essentially punching its ticket for Indy with a program-defining win in Madison.
