So where did your Pelini fail?
He failed to appreciate that the chief purpose of being head coach at NU is to show unwavering appreciation for "The Greatest Fans In College Football." That's what matters more than anything.
So where did your Pelini fail?
He had 7 years and he failed to win anything more than a participation ribbon. He failed. He failed as a coach. He failed as an example for the youth of our fan base. He failed as a mentor to our student athletes. He failed as a representative of our University. He failed and we paid him 4 MILLION dollars to go coach at Youngstown State. Maybe as importantly he failed the guy that hired him. Good riddance. He failed to appreciate that the chief purpose of being head coach at NU is to show unwavering appreciation for "The Greatest Fans In College Football." The relevance of my post is you saying there are no excuses for a loss, but many are looking at this matchup as a potential loss.Your entire post is irrelevant to what I said. Riley is a 5-6 win year coach replacing a coach who won 9 and 10 games each year. The whole point is, we hired Riley to get us past the 9-10 win hump. We hired him to win the games that mattered. I don't think he can do.
the media is basing things off the fact that Riley is a 500 coach, implementing a new offensive and defensive scheme with a QB not suited to run his offense.
However, we hired him to win games like this. If he can not beat BYU, he can't beat Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State, ect......
Time for him to earn his paycheck. Expectations shouldn't be lowered. Period.
Stomach is in knots already.....You think any of you folks will enjoy watching the game today?![]()
Literally the dumbest thing I have ever read. Suh was a no name. Pretty much everyone on that team was a no name. Suh wasn't just inherently good. Bo brought out the best in Suh. So think before you post next time lol.Yeah,,,,, those Callahan like teams with Ndmakong Suh really sucked to inherit...What are you talking about?? Bo got worse and worse with his own players. The holes left from recent recruiting is one of the biggest problems this staff faces!
