It was almost behind him. But the two interceptions were nice. I guess we lucked out on one, But it was a nice ball. I like HH, everyone does, but he needs massive amounts of work.I get that he needs to ignore the peanut gallery, especially us idiots, but he needs to be a game manager and scramble run when somebody isn’t wide open.

When NU got the stop on 4th and 1 at the end of the 3rd quarter - I thought we were going to win. We had just scored on two straight possessions (after MD turnovwrs). The 4th down stop was as good as a turnover. We had all the momentum; MD could have been put away on our next drive. Instead - we turn it over on two consecutive plays. JFC - it’s gonna take a lot of bourbon to drink this one away.
If we want to complete a pass. Hurt or not - he’d better not play. He was waaaaaay off today. Not even close on throws…except for the Malachi drop. Purdy and Sims can both run too. Our measuring stick for who starts is going to be “who is least likely to turn it over”. (Sims carries the ball like a loaf of bread). And that’s a tough one. Just a bad Qb room. I believe 90+ percent would agree.
No, that's my point. He has become unplayable. You hung your hat on him and he is probably the worst starting qb in college football. His throwing today was in the negative.

But if you need to pass - he’s a liability. The sidearmed sh@& - he may have the record at Neb for batted down passes - if they kept those stats.

Yes, although I like Rhule overall, the QB problem clearly is on him. He's the one who selected Sims from the portal. And clearly he's the one that has to fix it for next year getting a different QB from the portal.
I'd guess for next year, Sims and Purdy need to be gone. And HH probably stays around but is relegated to a 3rd string back up.
Purdy is our most complete QB. He needs to stay. He’s only had 3rd team reps and led the best drive of the day. That last pass play was a crappy play design and you don’t call that in that spot for a guy who hasn’t played all year

Maybe he's better than the other two but unfortunately that isn't saying much. I think if he was head and shoulders above the other two, he'd be winning games for us unless someone thinks Rhule is intentionally holding him back. Yes, he was injured earlier but I think he's healthy now. And there's certainly no reason not to play him if he's really that good. Look, I wish all of them the best but we need to win.

Yeah, no doubt HH's biggest strength/asset is his running ability and I think his mindset to put bad plays behind him.
