He’s not the athletic director of Florida State so, not crumpled.

We are led around by an endless nepotistic trail.
it's 100% crumpled, because conferences get millions of dollars for CFP appearances, but you two nuts are trying to convince yourself that 1 out of 13 members acted as a secret agent for ESPN.

what about Will Shields? he's a secret agent for Alabama/ESPN?
Warde Manuel, AD at Michigan? He wanted his team to play against the greatest college head coach of all time?
Mitch Barnhart, AD at Kentucky? He's secretly an Alabama fan who couldn't fathom them missing out?

you sound insane. it's really not difficult to accept that normal people know Alabama is a better team than a FSU team who had the 55th overall SOS and lost their star QB.

You are well versed with the politics within the Acc huh?

Auburn had more rushing yards against Alabama than total yards against New Mexico St. Auburn only had 91 passing yards against Gump and if not for a miracle would have won. There goes the theory you need passing yards.....

Auburn rushing yards
Vs NM ST 64
Vs Gump 250

Auburn manhandled Bama a week after New Mexico St manhandled them. Then Bama manhandled Georgia. Proving Georgia wasn't the #1 team in the country even though being placed there all year. If the nation and the polls and the committee can't pass the eye test with one team, how can they pass the eye test with four?

nobody cares about auburn and new mexico state, only you. arkansas (4-8) put 500 yards on the same florida team (5-7) that florida state barely managed to put 200 yards against. charlotte (3-9 in the aac) nearly matched those yards. of course you don't want to have that discussion because mike norvells dick is too far in your mouth to speak.

alabama won the SEC, and they deservingly made the playoff for beating the best team in the country as well as having the 4th toughest schedule.

They weren't the best team in the country. They lost. And they were shown to be weak in the trenches while doing it. Against a team that got smacked around by Auburn. There is more than just the Auburn game tho. You're too stupid to talk to.

I honestly think the biggest issue here is not the SOS of each team, but how the committee handled this.

Per their own guidelines undefeated seasons from a power 5 conference is supposed to be weighed pretty heavily. The committee ended up thrown by their own guidelines in the trash, and went with what they was being pushed pretty heavily, and that was an SEC team with one loss should still be in the playoffs.

The way I look at it is the just leap frogged FSU because they weren’t as “sexy” as bama. I’d challenge you with this simple question, had the undefeated team been Clemson (having played FSUs schedule, and losing their starter like FSU) do you think they would have left them out of the playoffs with the same undefeated record? I’d say not just no but hell no, because Clemson has been there before and would be a sexier pick.

And for anyone that isn’t upset with that just replace FSU L with Nebraska, and see how upset you’d be if we got jumped over for a one loss SEC team.

The bottom line for me is the committee really screwed the pooch on this one and set a horrible precedent, they basically told everyone in the power five group that it didn’t matter what your record is, it matter who your players are and if you’re the flavor of the month, you have to be the sexy team before you’re the undefeated team!
