Frost talked about the culture at Nebraska during the Osborne years. Clearly, Tom had a football process or system that worked extremely well for 25 years. He made one major change to his offense and he made one major change to his defense. His coaching staff was the most stable in college football. I’m sure many of his coaches had opportunities to leave, but few did. Furthermore, his weight training staff stayed under the leadership of Boyd Epply. Finally, the athletic department under Devaney and Byrne remained very stable. I know everyone loves a winner, but to keep this entire organization largely in tact for 25 years is remarkable and it says volumes about the culture and work environment created by Osborne, Devaney and Byrne.

We all wish Frost and Moos et al the best, but this is a supreme challenge. As a life long Nebraska fan, I will do whatever I can to help them. Sadly for me, all I can do is buy my season tickets, make a small donation to the cause and yell my guts out for my beloved Huskers.
