Part of me is being greedy and hoping for the Pinstripe Bowl. I might just make the five or so hour drive to NYC for me if that were to happen. Though I'm not sure if going to New York in late December would be as thrilling for the players as a warm weather locale. Lol.

This was a bit of a 'baby step', but it was a step that NU had to take. Shedding the ridiculous bowl streak is a huge relief. It was also nice to do it against a team that has totally owned NU for a decade. Yes, Wisconsin is currently a damaged program - but NU has routinely lost to programs in worse shape than the Badgers.

It was a great weekend for the Huskers. We get to enjoy the bowl season. We can look forward to next year.

Damn...this was a nice win.
