Lining up and going through walkthroughs is some kind of revolutionary, mind blowing recruiting tactic? Huh, I just assumed everyone has been doing that forever. Guess not. Thought it was kind of recruiting 1-0-1 to do everything you can to make them feel like they're already part of the team.
Looks like it’s more like having a cold brew with the boys to make them more relaxed!
It made enough of an impression that recruits talked about it. Must not be common practice everywhere.
Interesting! Rhule & staff... it just feels like they're recruiting for 3 teams. They never stop. The future will definitely be fascinating.

You're right, I'm sure that the recruits are lying about things that stuck out to them during their recruiting trip to Nebraska.
What was confusing was "lining up at their positions in groups of 11". I took that to mean the receiver recruits or the OLine recruits or running back recruit lined up at their positions. Then the rest of the 11 positions (like center) we didn't have visiting recruits for were filled in by GAs, or possibly current players if allowed by NCAA rules. Then the play was run and our coaches worked with each recruit after the play to coach them. It was a chance for the recruits to get the feel of exactly how Rhule and the assistants run their practices. It was implied other schools don't run recruits through a practice.
Of course I'm guessing, but that is what I inferred.
No, you're right. I'm sure local sports guys would never blow anything out of proportion on a slow news day during the off season to generate clicks.
Yeah, I don't know. I'm sure there's some truth to it. Not disputing it. Tweet just made it sound like it's some mind blowing new recruiting strategy which seems pretty suspect to me. He even fizzled on his excitement/conviction of how awesome and revolutionary it was as the audio wore on. Whatever, some people just need any shred of anything positive with Husker football to make their lives worth living I guess. Good for them.

The reality is recruits spoke highly of that particular part of their experience during their visit to Nebraska. A person with common sense would say "well that was a pretty good idea"
Eeyore would find reasons why it sucks or isn't true and feel the need to shit on something positive.
