I thought the most intriguing portion of last Thursday's press conference came when Dr. Susan Elza (Nebraska FB chief of staff) went to the podium and talked about Nebraska recruiting the state of Texas. She opined about the Huskers' need to get back into Texas like it has in the past, broke down why Matt Rhule and Co. have been so successful in the state and even shared a couple anecdotes about how she has been a behind-the-scenes recruiter.
All of it wound up sending me down a rabbit hole of research. Went back through every Husker coach's recruiting class in the Rivals Era (2002-present) to round up the total number of signees each coach landed from both Texas and Nebraska.
