QB Terry Wilson

News about Oregon offering Nebraska quarterback commit Terry Wilson of Del City, Okla. went mainstream today. I reported the offer in last week's Tunnel Talk along with the fact that Wilson had told offensive coordinator Scott Frost and the Oregon coaching staff that he wasn't interested.

The Ducks have stayed after Wilson though and he told me tonight that he plans to take a visit to Eugene at some point this summer just to check things out, but that he remains committed to Nebraska.

"Yeah, I just want to see the place, but I love Nebraska and I'm committed," Wilson said about visiting Oregon. "I don't know the date, but I'll most likely go with my mom and (teammate) Walter (Watson)."

Wilson also told me that he's trying to make it to Dallas to attend Nebraska's satellite camp there next week so that he can hang out with the NU coaching staff.

Wilson still seems very much enamored with the Huskers at the point in time. However, his looming visit to Oregon is a bit of a concern. We'll be staying on top of this situation and bring you more details as they unfold.
