Bevo got taken behind the woodshed in the first half, and appears they have come back for more.

When is that network going to change its name to something like, Lone Star Sports Network?

Texas will be bad until they offer Saban $10 million per year. And I wouldn't be surprised if they did that.

I was kind of sad that TCU seemed to lose interest in the 2nd quarter. Until then it looked like they might hang 80 on the Horns today.

Sorry, I don't agree, you don't need 10M or Saban for that matter. Imagine Patterson or Briles at Texass. Homerun hires.

Money would have to be the only reason, because right now both of them have better programs and are potential playoff contenders.

Agree. I'm more pointing out that Saban isn't the ONLY coach that can turn a blueblood program around.

True. There's rumors that he feels like his message is falling on deaf ears at Bama. Victim of his own success. That's why I could see him going. Do something no one ever has. Win a title at 3 schools?

Patterson would be a great hire for them, he's shown that he can build something out of nothing. Briles I'm not so sure about, he seems like a snake and perennial doormats don't just spring to life out of the blue.

Strong is just not a good fit at Texas. He'd be smart to take the Miami job with the way he recruits South Florida.

Texas doesn't need Saban, Patterson, etc. Get a coach with Texas ties who can recruit/develop QBs and they'll be good again. Tom Herman could turn them around pretty quick IMO.
