Tax withholding question

If you’re single with kids, are you better off claiming Single or HOH on your W4. Tried doing the calculations and best I can come up with is I may get more money back at the end of the year if I claim single.

I know some people like to file so that they break even at the end of the year but I would rather not have to budget for paying in.
