I happen to be one who thinks that Tommy will start and own the spot barring complete failure which is hard to imagine. A lot has been said about his completion percentages over his first two years. Clearly it's not a number you build a championship team on.
I think an element that should spot Tommy at least 5% points(maybe higher)on completion percentage is scheme. Can't see the current staff putting him in positions to fail there. When MR talks about tailoring our offense to current strengths......people seem to neglect to factor in how that should help TA actually perform better within his skill set.
I hear and read the phrase round peg, square hole....while fretting about MR's proclivities on offense. I think a solid case can be made that no one did that better(regarding QB play) than our previous coaches. That should be a discernible upgrade, in my opinion this year. That will only work to Tommy's benefit, IMO.
