Everyone has their own opinion about the team's play, individual players and all members of the coaching staff. And as fans, we are entitled to those opinions. And following the team, having those opinions and the emotional bond that it brings has always been a strong point of Nebraska Football. We all live it with the coaches and players. We all feel ownership in the Huskers.

Watching the game yesterday, something really stood out to me. We truly lacked the talent level at key positions that were always our strong points during our glory years. Or even our good years.

Competing in the Big 10, we have to have a lot of very strong and athletic linemen on both sides of the ball, because every game is going to be a big fight. We have to win here. We lack the running game and outstanding running backs we have seen over the years, and switching from a mobile QB to a Drop Back player creates a big question mark, at least to me.

Defensively, we just lack playmaker's across most positions. I feel there is young talent there but I just don't currently see many, if any All-Big 10 level players in red jerseys on either side of the ball.

I don't like to pick on any player or coach, and I have always supported them regardless, and I will always support the team, coaches and the program.

But there just were things that really jumped out to me yesterday. And until those area's are addressed and fixed, we are what we are.
