I’d love the option and pounding teams but no one runs the option in HS anymore and WR wouldn’t come here if we did that.
So, the reality is we need to have a modern offense.
I am so tired of the speculation now though that I really don’t care who it is. Just name someone already. We clearly must have had someone lined up in 8 weeks… if not Trev should be fired.

I mean, all the 4 and 5 star WRs we've brought in have been real difference makers over the past decade

Calhoun has experience outside the triple option too, as he was an NFL OC. It shocks me that we hear about Monken so often, but never Calhoun.

Monken and his agent may just be more aggressive. Calhoun may be content where he's at. He's been at AF since 2007.

Yeah Calhoun has had to have had a ton of opportunities to move on. I know Tennessee wanted him at one point. He is comfortable where he is.

Between him and Jeff Monken, I think Calhoun's version of option football is more fun to watch. I don't watch Air Force or Army a lot so I'm basing that comment off highlights reels.

Between the two, I'd prefer Calhoun.
