That would be a surprising hire. Huge get for UCF if possible

That is almost as much of a home run as getting Frost to stay

Surprised he isn’t a candidate at FSU.

Anyone hearing anything about FSU or Arkansas hires?

Have there been any rumors about Riley or is he just standing in the social security line ? I saw that Kent state fired their coach who never won more than 4 games. Riley might fit in good there. Get them 6 wins and to a bowl and he would be a hero.

If Sumlin was fired, A&M has to pay him within 60 days. Depending on how the rest of the contract is worded, he may be free to coach when and where he wants.

Sumlin's buyout is not affected by his next job. Dude got away like a bandit. His agent is probably getting all kinds of phone calls since everyone found out what he negotiated for Sumlin. Haha.

Well, hopefully his agent can negotiate a similar deal with UCF. Best retirement plan I've heard of yet.

He is and doesn’t have to forfeit any future earnings. His agent must be a rockstar
That was amazing by sumlin. Payable all in one lump sum. Taxes gonna be rough. T&M pretty deep pockets to be able to afford that and Jimbo

Bo was a d-bag but I cannot believe with all the job openings his name hasn’t been floated at all. Knowing what we know I wouldn’t touch him but he did average more than 9 wins a game at a power 5 school. His reputation in D1 college football must be garbage

Danny white is a great ad. If he gets Sumlin who is a proven winner at that level and already has Dawkins in basketball. He may be on our shortlist of ad's when Moos rides off in the sunset if some other big school doesn't take him first.
