“Well, I was pretty stern with my contract and with my discussions a year ago, and that didn’t hold up, so I got to keep on working that. I thank Daikiel for the work that he’s done here. I thought he was a very good coach, a good young coach," Stoops said.

“I was pretty demanding that I needed at least a two-year commitment out of that and put a pretty large buyout on it but some schools weren’t afraid to just write a check. So I wish him luck. I do appreciate what he’s done. I think he’s a very talented young coach, and I wish him the best.”

“Rumor is the WR room at Kentucky did not gel with Shorts so that would surprise me. This comes from a local radio personality who is extremely close to Dane's family and is basically like an uncle (I think he might actually be his godfather). Never know though.”

There you go. so it is written, so it shall be On Reddit

That’s the kind of reaction I want to see when we steal a coach.

Didn’t get that reaction with South Carolina and Satterfield.
Yeah, is it a bad sign when they throw a party because you're gone?

The losers always come up with the best sour grapes stories. I heard from my grandma’s FedEx guy that…

I actually totally respect and like what Stoops said.

Finding good coaches is hard. Finding average coaches is easy. He clearly felt like he had a good one and lost him.

I had a principal that (twice) did all he/she could to make sure I did not leave, I fell for it the first time and stayed, later on, when a new chance popped up I left and have loved it.

You're a teacher? That's actually kind of scary.

Yeah No shit but Kentucky used as a WR and he was a high pick we used as a RB and almost got him kilt so Wan'dale definitely made the right decision
Honestly I thought at the end on the goal line stuff they were just trying to get him a TD - shockingly I don't think he had gotten one yet and they were trying anything. I remember being shocked at the amount of touches with none across the goal line.

Nebraska never ceases to amaze by accomplishing what seems impossible. Never in a good way, obviously.
