Starting unranked again

I love pre-season football. Position battles, new systems, new coaches, etc. But being worried about or trying to figure out pre-season polls is like watching reality TV. Pointless. Go to Wisconsin undefeated and that crap will work itself out. Here's what I guarantee about pre-season polls: multiple teams not in the Top 25 will be good; multiple teams in the top 25 will suck.

Depressing to see 4 conference members in the top 10, one being the resurrected PSU, and us not one of the 4.
But there is a way for us to beat 3 of the 4; and in one scenario all four. We are starting to see young pups and other new position players shine; and maybe realign the stars. ..
There are special seasons that flare out of nowhere and a few balls bounce the right way - I believe we have the ingredients; and the biggest wild card and it may be a surprise that may seem more obvious with success - the coaching staff , and how they prep and join the team too bring it. A bit of red Koolaide can lead to sweet dreams, why not maintain the smile and be a fan. GBR ;)

At least we can get them in front of us, and yes its a tough break with the schedule. Years ago the politically powerful B1G TEN and the PAC Ten would run hide in the Rose Bowl. Leaving Coach Tom to fight with the Southern Monsters ; and then you had to convince the poll voters. This is better, and we want the opportunity.

NSIAP, should be interesting when we kick the living shit out of Wisconsin. All this iffy shit is a joke. OSU and Penn State will be tough. Other than that, we got this. Until then ignore the whiners.

Based on our blow out losses last year especially the half effort at Iowa and in the bowl this seems fair. Until we prove we have an offensive line, kicking game and pass rush I see no reason for us to be ranked.

Especially our Oline......oh boy, we need MASSIVE improvement.
