Obviously Michigan State's rating should be above Penn State, but my rating was based on 'Star-power', so I put the quantity of four-stars ahead, even though MSU has far more numbers of 3-star athletes.

Anyone can monitor this status by going to the individual sites. I was curious, so I felt others may be as well. Not a great chart; sorry but time constraints prevent my providing the entire list.

What caused me to look into this? I was curious about Penn State...took a look, and was shocked at the fact that they've accumulated eight (8) 4-star athletes already. Pretty impressive, so soon after their penalties.

It's my opinion that with POB and Alexander likely to receive 4th stars, our standing is pretty good as is. Add to this fact that I believe many of our presumed (lesser) star-power players are under-rated; I think our current status is looking very solid. I would welcome any improvements or comments on this subject. Sorry this isn't as professionally done as assuredly others on the board would likely compile. I probably miss-added numbers, too...again, sorry.

5-Stars - 4-Stars - 3-Stars - 2-Stars - Unrated - Total Commits
  1. Ohio State 1 - 12 - 3 - 0 - 0 - 16
  2. Michigan 0 - 8 - 8 - 4 - 0 - 20
  3. Penn State 0 - 8 - 3 - 0 - 0 - 10
  4. Mich State 0 - 7 - 11 - 1 - 1 - 20
  5. Nebraska 0 - 2 - 10 - 1 - 0 - 13
  6. Wisconsin 0 - 2 - 10 - 0 - 0 - 12
