Looking for some ideas to raise money for a slow pitch softball team. We have a team from the Lincoln area going to compete in Worlds tournament in Las Vegas. Are there any businesses around that do sponsorships? Also any ideas for fundraisers? Thanks!

Is this for kids or adults? If it's for kids start doing car washes, etc. If it's for adults, you need to man up and pay your own way.

Do a banner that gets advertising to companies is one way to do it. Be sure to use the banner for the next season as well.

Otherwise best bet is make calls and beat feet and simply ask businesses that you and people on the team go to a lot, they might be willing to help through that relationship

Bars are probably your best bet. Find one that will give you some money then have a bags tourney at their bar and maybe even a couple poker tournaments at that bar. It raises you money and provides more money for the bar as well.
