Keep the Greg loud and crazy! Friends with explayer’s dad. He texted me today that his daughter is going to ATX for game tonight. She soooo wants them to beat corn aggys. Told him I bet lots them are there tonight so we need to take them out of the game early.
I am ready and still pumped about the comeback on Thursday night......THAT WAS FUN!

Nebraska really screwed up not putting this away. Texas is going to get it together and when they do Nebraska can’t beat them.

NEBRASKA ADVANCES.
Damn, they gave it a good run, but just came out too flat and couldnt' overcome the early hole. That 2nd set was there for the taking.
Yup. Great season. Sucks to lose to UNL.
Why not stay on court to congratulate the the other team?
Seems like Groundhog Day. Coming in to the tourney with a high seed and losing to a lower seed in crunch time.
Only 5 times out of like 80 has the home team lost in the quarters and two of them have been us. Is that right?
Yeah: UNL is not your typical #10 seed.
Look at it this way. The Big 10 is the best conference….like SEC football. Those teams are battle tested, so Nebraska being a 10 seed doesn’t mean they are a low level team. I’m trying to rationalize here.
Is one of the issues Texas not seeing enough tough competition in conference play to really test them?
Nebraska will always be a seasoned opponent, but a 2 losing to a 10 at home shouldn't happen.
Other than Nebraska, no Big 10 team has ever won an NC in volleyball.
Highest ever attendance I think... really sad to lose like that.
My bad - forgot Penn St. was Big 10.
Tough loss for Texas. Nebraska played lights out in a rowdy environment. On a side note, seeing women's basketball Coach Vic sitting in the stands I couldn't help but think he was wondering how he can get the students to his teams basketball games.
Year after year defense (passing) is our problem when it gets down to the nut cutting. Elliot has never placed enough emphasis on getting top notch defensive specialists and liberos. O'Brian was a rare exception last year and she fell into their lap as a grad transfer. Nebraska beat us tonight because of their defense and that's the main reason we have only won one NC in Elliot's time here.
Maybe the ranking was fool's gold because of the weakness of the Big XII. When you have the athletes that Texas does then you can probably beat bad to average teams with size and athleticism and without even playing that good fundamentally (meaning no service errors, great receiving/passing, etc.).
I assume he is referring to the stats that show that this doesn't happen often but I just think you can throw the seedings out the window in a match like this... although I have to admit I didn't expect Nebraska to win and I especially didn't expect them to clearly look like the better team.
