As a Royals fan I like the trade a lot. We didn’t even use Singer in the playoffs and it was a perfect time to sell high on him. I’ve never been a fan of his 2-pitch deal. If India keeps up his walk rate and on-base numbers he should be a serious upgrade in front of Bobby. I think Bobby might have led baseball in solo homers and was up there in doubles and triples with no one on. Not good. Sounds like Massey will move to LF or could even get traded.Ok, as a Royals fan I’m indifferent on losing Brady Singer. Thought he was a quality fourth starter. Asking you Reds fans how good this India guy is? Can he hit? Royals don’t need anymore weak ass hitters. Also wondering where they’re going to play India.
I’d really hate to lose Massey. I think he’s a quality player. In fact I think he’s one of their better players. If he’s going to switch positions I’d rather see him go to third. I’m not sold on Garcia. As a Royals fan I like the trade a lot. We didn’t even use Singer in the playoffs and it was a perfect time to sell high on him. I’ve never been a fan of his 2-pitch deal. I think going to outfield is because of his bad back so they can get more games out of him.I’d really hate to lose Massey. I think he’s a quality player. In fact I think he’s one of their better players. If he’s going to switch positions I’d rather see him go to third. I’m not sold on Garcia.
Singer is maddening. But I suppose Cincy will magically convince him to finally throw a 3rd pitch.from a Reds fan --- India had a great year four seasons ago that put him on the map. The past three years has pretty consistent stats but played injured each year. He is rated an average to below average fielder. It didn't matter much with De La Cruz getting to balls over 2nd base but India does not do well with balls hit between 1B and 2B that other Reds players got to and threw for the out. He hustles, plays hard ... basically .245/14/50 hitter. Singer pitched a shutout in Cincy last year, 6 innings. For that HR launching ballpark, that is an impressive stat.
