Wut? Rhule made one of the worst OCs of all time a top ten paid OC when he got here. He then handed that OC a 5 star #1 rated player out of high school with weapons on the outside, and he preceded to recycle routes every defense knew was coming based on what formation we were in. A guy who was sitting on a couch came in and made the offense look 10 times more efficient in short order. When it came time to throw the drunk cook out of the kitchen, he then instead moves him to the dishwashing station making him the highest paid TE coach when as OC, couldn't even get the right frigging TE on the field. I would say Kong is right that Dannen forced that slobbering buffoons hand in finding a new OC by a probability of 98 percent. He could have hired someone else for that position at 800 grand, and taken the savings and thrown it at a Michael Terry. That is glazing type of loyalty.
Adam stated he is leaving a whole lot out in respect to what his source wanted him to share, not share. Put the pieces of the puzzle together

If that record is remotely true, Satt needed to be fired on Day 1, years ago. MR has better get this tool off his staff immediately

He hired the wrong OC and in less than two years took it away from him and gave it to someone else. That’s it, it really isn’t as dramatic as you are making it.

Nobody is spinning it in a good way. The problem is people falling for JuanMalo’s purposeful slander. Conflict between coaches and players over personalities and playing time happens in every sport frequently. I regret that EJ has entered the portal but he ‘s made himself less attractive to other programs with this drama.
This wouldn't have gained traction if Carriker didn't hint at a major issue. He confirmed disrespect while saying he isn't going to share everything he heard.
I just seen him make some recruiting videos, then this drama came out....I did'nt know he was this infamous juan character...I figured he was just some Nebraska fan.
I'd like rhule to bring both sat and emmit to the podium, and say they are sorry for this drama when they both should be focused on, idk, maybe RUNNING THE BALL for positive yardage...

It doesn’t have to be a positive. Even if he was the best back on a 6-6 team in 2024, will he or would he have been the best back in 2025? I have my doubts.

Carriker claimed only DH has reached out to EJ since he entered the portal. Does that mean he didn’t tell the coaches before he did it? I would think the players would let the staff know beforehand. But maybe not.
Carriker better be getting his information straight from EJ. If not, he's a fool. This whole drama sure makes me wonder if there were other reasons for EJ not playing more earlier. IF he's running his mouth to some troll podcaster like JuanMalo I don't want him.
I guess. I just feel bad for everyone involved. All players get caught up in their emotions and their egos. They think they should have bigger roles, even the super stars. It just sucks for everyone involved this drama has to be aired to the public, for social media clout. Even if EJ wanted to come back, this all makes it much, much less likely now.
All it would take is a denial from EJ that he even talked to that clown troll podcaster. Unfortunately it makes EJ look immature which I don’t think is true.

The portal opens in a couple days, so he's not in it yet. And players do not have to notify their present school that they are entering. Many don't. It avoids an uncomfortable conversation
That's exactly what Carriker did with a small addition of I'm not going to share everything I was told. In a roundabout way, he was confirming what was being said. Maybe as a former player, he felt some heat was needed to get a dildo out of Lincoln for good. I would agree with him.

Hopefully we can do much better. We need it to take the next step. Our score card from the portal under Rhule is pretty mixed so far, but have to think DH will improve that.
I don’t know, but I would bet there weren’t many thinking that he was going to be the man the last three games of the season. Someone always steps up to be the starter.
