Admittedly, it's a small sample size. And there is sometimes an exception to the rule like Honas and his relationship with Ruud. But, it seems that the current group of commits and the prospects that talk about their OV, have more to say about Frost and Nebraska as a whole than recruits and commits from the Riley era. Those players, especially at WR, LB and DB, seemed to have more of a connection to a position coach than they did Riley or even Nebraska.
Not sure how all that translates to player development or results on the field, but I like to think that when a player is fully bought into a team and the head coach, rather than an assistant coach, we'll see improved effort and chemistry across the board.
Again, might not be anything but it's an interesting trend.
