You need to also understand the context behind the "Purdue and Nebraska's", this was from an interview on Bussin With the Boys I believe, so it was clearly a friendly jab at Will Compton, nothing more than that.

So let me get this straight. I know we have been down, but we got a damn QB from Vanderbilt saying that the Big 10 is weak because they have Purdue and Nebraska. I know Nebraska has been down, but as shitty as we have been we are not Purdue level bad... however Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, Rutgers and maybe Northwestern could be.

I realize that he was taking a friendly jab at Will Compton when he said that, but this guy is completely full of shit. He put up decent numbers the last two seasons, but not Heisman numbers, not even close. NO ONE is offering this dude 4 million in NIL. He says he turned it down to stay at Vandy and that Vandy told him they could give him 4 million but they won't be able to spend anything else bringing other guys in and he told them to use the money bringing others in. Sure.

Never heard of this guy and I have no idea if Vandy has been winning 2 games a year or 7. Playoff confirms what I've thought of the SEC, talented overrated league that is showing who they really are with an even playing field.
I'm way more interested in how Nebraska's players are working out this summer to make themselves a better team this year. And I'll live in the past for a moment here, if they're working out as hard as the players did 31 summers ago, then that's a good sign.
