Well here is my 2 cents worth. I'm very disappointed in the results of the program so far. I wish that we had the mentality of past teams and be mean and nasty on the field. Watching the Badgers run through, over and on top of us was disheartening to say the least. That being said, this team does have some intangibles, which are:
1. They do not quit, and that is good.
2. Their is talent their to win the BIG West, and even challenge for the BIG Title.
3. Riley and Co. are recruiting very well so far and to fire him at this stage would be a huge setback for the team and for the plan to get back where we should be.
I, for one, am not ready to throw the baby out with the bathwater. I will continue to yell, cheer and root on my Huskers. After all what a better way to show the team, the recruits that we are indeed the best fan base in America. I am willing to give Riley another year, and if there is improvement, another year after that. I do think that Coach Cav needs to retire, and Langsdorf needs to move on though. That pass that was intercepted was inexcusable, when we should have just run it in. If we had scored on that drive, we would have won the game. Oh well, I am in the midst of a cold so am going to head back to bed...GBR!!!
