I am so torn. As a lifelong husker fan I take extreme pride in the fact that NU is just different than other programs in the fact that wins aren't the only thing that matters. We want the program to represent us as a state..honorable,humble,blue collar and most importantly "classy". HCRM is absolute aces in this area. I think we are all proud of the grace and character he shows and want so badly for that to transfer to on the field performance.
And as a recruiting junkie I am so excited about the talent this staff seems to be attracting to Lincoln. All that being said, tonight was a huge slap in the face. Not sure if I've ever been more embarrassed to be a Husker fan and have the feeling that this boulder is going to keep tumbling downhill picking up speed until a change is made.
