For the first time in 70 years.
I understand most won't care about this but I'm going to tell it anyways. My Grandmothers parents purchased Nebraska season tickets in 1946. 13 seats which was an entire row. Row 30 in East stadium which was in the nosebleeds at the time of 33 rows. Over the years the tickets dwindled to the 4 that we currently own.
My grandmother died this year and never transferred the ownership to my father who has paid for them for the past 35 years. The University kindly sent us an email this year letting us know that they want to help us keep our tickets due to our loyalty. All it would cost is 8000 in donations per year on top of the 2000 we already pay for the tickets. I know some of you will be happy that we lose them but for that long and that loyal I feel like we deserved better. Anyways. GBR.
