Seen that he got an offer from ND and heard that this is a dream of his (dont know bout the reliability of that but I’d have to assume it’s true).

He said he grew up liking them, but that doesn’t always result in a commitment. Other schools have been on him much longer and it sounds like he was very impressed with his OSU visit. The plan is to take a few more visits and then come to a decision, so if he schedules a return visit I think that’d be the signal that ND is probably the team to beat. Side note: Kelly and offensive coordinator Chip Long weren’t even on campus during Duggan’s visit.

To think about that for just a minute, that this young man is considered by many at least on this board as a plan B. That shows the level of talent that coach Frost and the staff are shooting for to bring in. The future looks bright

To think that many are assuming who is #1, 2, and 3 on Nebraska’s Quarterback board. Let the speculation continue. Winking

I've heard Johnson is the top target and some even suggesting Daniels the second target with Duggan being 3rd on the list.

Johnson may be higher on the board, but our chances of getting him are slim to none. Duggan should be the top target. His film is more impressive than most of the other QBs we've offered, and he's right in our backyard.

Propaganda machine already fired up just in case. I believe in Frost and staff. No excuses

I very much doubt hes a plan B.
It could very well be that he is cool on us and the staff knows it.
I would be shocked if he didnt have a commitable offer on the table.
It doesnt mean we didnt try or didnt want him. It could just mean we arent putting all our eggs in one basket, and meither is he. This is a smart move by both parties.
Its also only March. He has 11 months to decide.

People stop acting like we dont want him. Its stupid.

Isn't he looking to make an April decision?

All I know is the propaganda machine is rolling. And if we don't get him, we didn't want him

Then he still has a month.
And then he has another 10 months to change his mind. Even if he chooses us.

What Im saying is peoples reaction is a little too premature here.
He isnt committed to us and the staff is wisely exploring all options, just as he is.
I doubt it has anything to do with not wanting him.

Dont lump everyone into that category. You know it isnt the majority.

If we dont get him we just missed him. It happens. Sometimes it doesnt make sense, like that qb who went to OSU to be a career backup. (Although is he in the runnin for the job this year?)

I'm not saying who I consider the best. I said I've heard the staff has Johnson as plan A and some suggested Duggan wasn't even plan B. May or may not be true.

What other propaganda could possibly be set-up? Let's think of some.

While I agree with many of your posts can't say I'm buying that one, because the two others that are supposed to be ahead of him I don't see coming here. So striking out on three would be a much worse look than striking out on one.

I don’t think Duggan is our top priority at QB for this class. Could be wrong though.
I love this response from any fan base. Or he wasn’t good enough anyways. Whether it’s right or wrong in this case is irrelevant. Every fan base has these posts after a player goes somewhere else.

I have heard Notre Dame was his plan A school, not sure if Nebraska was plan B or plan Z on his list. I do know he wants to go some place he can win National Championships so if you aren't in the conversation to win one the next couple of years you are probably SOL when it comes to the kid.

So you're saying he's not going to ND either?

Is that the reason why he has Iowa so low on his list.

He lives closest to Nebraka, Iowa State, then Iowa. However, it seems Minnesota, North Carolina and Notre Dame all may be in the running.

Well if the Iowa fan is correct and it's in his quest to win national titles (plural) then Alabama is the only team in the running. On a more serious note I've heard for some time that Notre Dame was a dream so if he has a committable offer from them then I would have to assume that he'll be announcing his commitment to them in April or whatever time he was looking to announce. I don't quite understand the NC or Minnesota deals with the choices he has but I guess we'll see in the near future.
