I mean, come on…a conference of 18 teams still being called the Big Ten?
The Big 8 changed to the Big 12, Pac 10 chance to the Pac 12. Is this some sort of ego/tradition thing with the B10?
How about “The elite 18”, or the “Coast to Coast Conference” (The CCC)? Whatever…but at this point “The Big10” just seems asinine.
Only way I see keeping the name, and having it making sense, is if they add two more teams, and go with Big10 east & Big10 west.
