Yeah! decided I like this downhill snowboard racing stuff. "Snowboard Cross" I guess it's called. Whacky!
Probably going to choke again.Hopefully Jacobellis takes the gold in womens snowboard cross..
I wouldn't say she choked, but definitely another gut-punch. This form of racing seems like a crapshoot.
Three times in the olympics she's had huge leads and then wiped out and lost the race. This time was a close race but she got edged out on a turn and finished in 4th. Some people are meant to be winner's and some are meant to lose.
LOL! Message board poster calling an Olympian a loser. Good times.Three times in the olympics she's had huge leads and then wiped out and lost the race. This time was a close race but she got edged out on a turn and finished in 4th. Some people are meant to be winner's and some are meant to lose.
She is actually the most decorated athlete in the history of Snowboard Cross, she's won 15 golds in the event between World's and Winter X Games. Just has bad luck or has made stupid mistakes in the Olympics.Well aren't you just a little ray of sunshine!
I am sure it is all in the perspective, but it is hard for me to see her as someone meant to lose when she has been in the Olympics multiple times. She must be winning at something.
You act like I don't agree with your comment.Well aren't you just a little ray of sunshine!

Where are you learning? I taught snowboarding in Beaver Creek, CO as a side gig for ten years. I taught myself when I was younger and it was painful but the equipment and teaching strategies are much better. I always keep in mind my experience learning the hard way. Hope you stick with it and give yourself grace.I'm just beginning snowboarding, reading this was pretty interesting.
Back off gramps, this ain't tinder...or grind'r.Where are you learning? I taught snowboarding in Beaver Creek, CO as a side gig for ten years.
