Creighton has 6 Nebraska natives on their roster and has never made a final 4. 2 schools from a state with more cows than people in the final 4 would be awesome

As I said before, we didn't come to play that night in Happy Valley and left our A game at home. They aren't in our league, nor Wisconsin's for that matter. Wisconsin swept them in the regular season. The ladies already aren't too happy they had to share the B1G title with them and payback is a biotch. This isn't a Russ Rose led team. If it's them we play Thursday and we bring it like we did today, which we will guaranteed we will bitchslap their asses enroute to a sweep. Don't think just because they beat us in Happy Valley that they are on our level. I'm calling my shot, we're winning the whole thing. We've got weapons all over including from the bench both offensive and defensive sides. We have the top defense in the country and Pitt hasen't faced a defense that is even close to ours all year long. We swept them last year with an inferior team to this years. Defense destroyed them and we are 14-0 all time against Pitt.

I too think PSU is going to win it all. Makes me sick to say that. But they are really surging here at the end of the season. Of course, we could also sweep them and win it all as well. Going to be interesting. But Penn State is a very hungry team right now.
They have some key players playing their 5th season. Smrek is a 4th year senior-- she can't opt in for another season, can she?

I think the key to beating PSU is getting them out of their home gym. Lol. Wisconsin absolutely destroyed them in Madison. They just seem to be an overachieving team this year. Possibly motivated by their coaches battle with cancer. If we play anywhere close to the level we did yesterday we'll be just fine.
Yep good call - I used to not like the guy for some unknown reason....prob because they owned us for a long time. But he is a good guy, always very complimentary of Nebraska and the program. Great rival to Nebraska, a very worthy opponent. Now the Texas coach.....

ESPN loves Pitt and psu coach is the feel good story especially now during Jimmy v season. I still feel Pitt and NU the 2 best teams. If we can get Beason on track we're unstoppable. She's been very silent as of late. We're starting to get predictable

Getting Beason going again offensively would be great but I think Landfair settling in is the most important factor in our success now. Merritt is such a versatile player she always contributes despite struggling with kills. Defense and especially serving. I agree though, if both are rolling we are unstoppable.
Yep. Outside of her at the service line, she has been pretty bad. If she can get it figured out I don't think anyone can beat us. I'm glad Landfair finally came around as well because she is an upgrade over Krause.
