Well, I know it is early in the season, but Shawn Eichorsts is looking more and more like the unsung hero of Husker Nation. I know a lot of Huskers (including myself) did a collective gasp (or many shouted "WHO???") when MR was announced as HC. Up until now it looked like most of the pieces were falling into place. Best of all, we have a coach that we actually LIKE to see and hear talking to the press. No cringeworthy comments, no death stares... a guy we can be proud of. Now the wins against quality opponents are coming.
I am feeling great this Monday morning and was more than proud to wear my Husker gear on my flight home yesterday!
