I'm not going to argue with that. Right now, I would imagine that SDSU would be favored over several bowl teams.

a lot of good fb players in that north central flyover country
Careful with the flyover comments. Not everyone here grew up in drive over Nebraska. I grew up in the Black Hills and somehow believe a lot more people in other states consider it a destination point than anyplace in Nebraska.😂

Junior Burgen (#5 for U Montana) is the exact kind of player we’ve been desperate to find for quite some time

Deebo Samuel of FCS, returned a kickoff and punt for TD last week

Started career as a running back, moved to WR

As dynamic and tough with the ball as you’ll see anywhere

And there’s a punt return TD to put the Griz up 7 in the 4th quarter

Montana's Burgen in quarterfinals and semifinals, both OT wins:

100 yard KO Ret TD
2 punt return TD
1 TD reception
1/1 passing, 2-point conversion

talk about showing up when the lights are brightest

yep, the jacks are really bison-like-dominant this year. but that scene at montana last night was most impressive. i'm sure sdsu won't miss playing ndsu again.

Maybe. The teams they’re playing lack the athleticism of most B1G teams. It’s just a notch slower but they’re very good.
Proven winners do more with less. Our D would be difficult for them but they would find a way to beat us and several others.

Isaiah Stalbird still starts for them and a former Husker baseball player is their backup QB.

Would SDSU do okay in the west last year? Probably. I think the physicality week after week would be a problem. OL and front 7 in the Big 10 are so different from MVC. Facing Nash, Ty, Cam, one week. Then facing Iowa. Then maybe Michigan and Wisconsin. That's a grind up front.

I think I would take their offensive line over ours right now. All are over 300 pounds, physical and athletic.
