Gruden has never run a college program. I love him but I believe Callahan could be very good if given another shot. He would have been great at UCLA or USC.Gruden outcoached Billy C in the Super Bowl though
Peach Skoal for everyone!Fire up the hot tub and ice down the Natty. We're getting the band back together!
Verduzco is the creepy male principal.Great reference! Which former assistants are Billy’s pool sleeping friends? You could equate the entire character cast of billy Madison to the husker football program right now.
Callahan didn't change the playbook, which Gruden knew front to back. Duhhhhhhh.Gruden outcoached Billy C in the Super Bowl though
He doesn't have to recruit in Florida. There's enough good local kids that want to stay close to home. They just fall into his lap.Frost couldn't get it done at NU, but few can. He will do very well back in Florida where he can recruit.
It was as if he knew exactly what plays Bill was going to call. The biggest problem for Bill was his starting center literally losing his mind a few days before the game and he had to start a backup at center. His center was the key to his offensive line and he was screwed..Gruden outcoached Billy C in the Super Bowl though
Husker fan base fits The bus driver. Every b10 school is odoyleVerduzco is the creepy male principal.
Right.I don't really ever follow players/coaches once they are no longer Huskers but I do like USF helmets!
WhippleHmmm, his 3 referrals on his resume, better pick em carefully. Moos, Davison, and ______________.
Don't have to leave the state to recruit...I think USF could be good for Frost. I don't know anything about their local support, but I would think it is pretty far down the list of interest in a state with the Florida, FSU and Miami. He can fly under the radar. Do whatever he likes, pick-up the leftover from the other schools and probably will enjoy some measure of success. If he wants to get off to a good start, I think he should steer clear of some of his old assistants. He seems pretty loyal to them and that could be a mistake.
Yeah, I like when they do that white and green one.Right.
I owe Frost the same level of respect and success he left this program with.I hope he gets it and does well.
I don't blame Urb! The young lady grinding on him is a hottie. Whether it was worth it was how long Urban was in the doghouse with wife Shelley. Probably not the first time. Just some harmless fun. Heck, Pitino had sex with an amply endowed woman underneath a table at his favorite Italian restaurant in Louville. I wonder how Rick explained that to his wife. I don't do these things because of lack of want to, it is because I am a coward that doesn't want to face my wife afterwards. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"I could see Meyer hiring Frost as his wingman.
Not to quibble ... Pitino did her ON the pool table. And then he said that it didn't last very long. Not sure I'd admit that publicly!I don't blame Urb! The young lady grinding on him is a hottie. Frost might be a good option for a smaller school. He MIGHT just be willing to do a sweetheart deal for little salary just to get back in the game since Nebraska is paying him that huge buyout.South Florida.
I hope he doesn't get it and languishes !I hope he gets it and does well.
Just reread the story. No pool table. Rick claims that when he got up “a most unfortunate thing happened. She unzipped my pants” Then asked if they has sex standing up Rick responded, “Yes”. Then the article states both Rick and the woman acknowledge they had sex at the table. Not to quibble ... Pitino did her ON the pool table. And then he said that it didn't last very long. Not sure I'd admit that publicly!
But he still can't coach ! Perhaps it doesn't matter anymore !He doesn't have to recruit in Florida. There's enough good local kids that want to stay close to home. They just fall into his lap.
Sad that another program would be desperate enough to hire a coach that had a losing record for 4.25 straight seasons.I hope he gets it and does well.
