Cliff notes anyone?
Nothing we haven't already heard from Coach Frost. Glad to be home. Group decision with assistant coaches whether or not to take the job. Great coaching staff. Osborne had it figured out what worked at Nebraska. Going to replicate it with amodern twist. Gonna be a process of hard work from the bottom up. We had the nation leading everything from nutrition to strength to academics in the 90s. Going to replicate that. Rivalries will develop over time and Nebraska hasn't held up their end recently. All programs go through a glory, then a golden era and then get away from what was successful and has to rebuild. What works at one place may not work somewhere else.

That's the best I could do. Hope that helps

Thanks tuco. I forgot to add the 8 team playoff. I thought that was big. 5 conference chanps and 3 at large.

Nothing earth shattering that we haven’t heard in the last 7 months....

The guy that asked about a rivalry against Iowa or other teams in the B1G didn’t get the answer he wanted to hear.

That was a trap question. Not sure if was intended to be a gottcha moment but i thought Coach Frost answered it perfectly.

I really liked his answer there. My interpretation of what he said was that Nebraska was not holding up their end of the bargain with respect to a rivalry with anyone. When Nebraska starts playing like the Nebraska of old, the rivalries will naturally take care of themselves.

Side note, I wish he would have chosen a few different words in his opening remarks. I knew what he meant, but I had to chuckle at how it came out Winking.

I think harbaugh is getting more than 15 minutes. Being last has its benefits.
Of course as soon as I say that he is done. So maybe they did cut him off at 15.

Anyone else think when he said "day by day, we get better and better", that he was going to hulk out and finish "The team that cant be beat, won't be beat!"?

Anybody watching the harbaugh interview right now. Is that Frost over his left shoulder doing an interview??

Well at 9:18 Scott talks about how a different formula works at different schools... and how TO figured out a formula that worked here etc..

Yet he is bringing this hurry up offense and hurry up defense, and so I guess he thinks the scheme you run doesn't matter, but it's weird to me because he mentions the scheme might not work at Texas A&M or how Alabama's might not work at Vandy.

I'm surprised people haven't caught this, because to me, it's kind of a very big contradiction.

So from this, it seems all local guys and hard work and brotherhood.. and that will change the program.. Forget recruiting stars I guess. Heck, we have 4 guys from NE on the 2019 scholarship wagon already.. don't think I have ever seen that before.

I thought he was saying the "formula" might not work, not necessarily the scheme.

I took it to mean in the overall direction of the program not necessarily the schemes. The S&C, the nutrition, the unity council, the walk on tradition, the offensive line development.

A "formula for success" doesn't necessarily mean the type of plays you call. Osborne's formula was lots of hard word in the weight room in the offseason, lots of players getting reps in practice, having a unity of purpose, all oars rowing in one direction, ect.

I listened to him say that but I took it to mean the big picture thing. Yes he is going to try to replicate what Osborne had figured out. That means big picture of culture and work ethic etc. That doesn't mean I formation option. He said with a modern twist.

I thought he did make some strange comparisons when he mentioned Oregon, a&m Alabama and vandy. But didn't try to read more into it than face value.

Great response until “all oars rowing in one direction”...not happening at Nebraska. Winking

I took it that way too. He mentioned all those things and he also mentioned putting a "modern" twist on TO's formula, which I assume means his schemes.

This is how I took it as well. I think the scheme will work just about anywhere. It’s the unity of purpose, the fact that the football team is a reflection of the people of Nebraska and the values they hold, etc. Coach even alluded to it when he was hired. Several years ago the right people weren’t in place, the culture was all jacked up. Starting from the ground up means changing the culture of the program and if we’re being honest that has to start in the AD’s office. I have a feeling the culture Frost wants to build aligns very similarly with Moos, and while Frost may be the driver and sustainer of that culture, I think Moos was the catalyst.
