Schwellenbach made some history tonight. Only pitcher in the modern era to have >=70 strikeouts and <= 10 walks in his first 11 starts. He has only one walk in his last 37 strikeouts. The Braves GM told him he was the number 1 player asked for at the trade deadline and of course the Braves said no thank you. Another interesting stat is he is only one of two pitchers throwing 6 different pitches at least 13% each game so you have no idea what is coming.

He's #2 in the rotation in my mind. I doubt the Braves make it into the playoffs at this point though, the Mets are one of the hottest teams in the league.
