What do we think?

An anniversary post to your wife, should be about the two of you. I don’t care what your favorite picture is, or who it’s with. I don’t REALLY care either way, but suppose enough to post. It’s the off season! GBR

Sure in context of an anniversary it's a little strange! I can't imagine there's anything nefarious about it though, and I have no idea how a picture apparently with a horse trainer is "left coast"?

so that makes it okay?

to me, it reeks of left coast thinking

I think its a little odd to.

Is the anniversary photo worse than the Ted Carter motorcycle gift he received but posted as a gift to Husker Nation or whatever?

Oh cool, I didn't realize we had all received that motorcycle as a gift! Would you all mind if I used it over my anniversary weekend in September?

Yep looks great, has them post-season vibes... like the rose bowl. Also, like the black player/team boxes as well, didn't know they were going to include that... hopefully it will kick up the field temperature a bit for the visitors side line on an early fall, afternoon game (Michigan?).

Agreed, I was not a fan intially but I am now after seeing the finished product. I also can’t wait to see the improvements to the large video screen.
Forget which game it was last year but it went on the fritz. I thought it was dead but they got it rebooted up

I think it looks pretty good. Better than I thought it would when I first saw the progress pics at the beginning of this thread. Like any good design, reserve judgement until you see it with all the elements in place. Will still look better once it's grass though.

Not catching your drift the N that you show from the 1980’s has always been on our helmets.

He's saying he wishes it was still used more places than just the helmet, i.e. the middle of the field, i.e. like that pic he posted.
Yup I'm not exactly sure when we started using the "Block N" for everything, maybe early 00s? But for example the "Helmet N" is used on the outside of the stadium and at midfield in the picture I posted, and the font is used in the endzones. I think it was way more common to see that font on Husker logos/gear up until the last 20 years or so when it's all just been the "Block N" font for everything other than the helmet.

Generally though I just think almost all the vintage Husker logos look way cooler than the more plain/generic style we use nowadays. Ironically, it's supposed to come across more traditional, but for Nebraska our traditional time when we were at our best was from the 70s-90s when we had unique and kinda wild logos like these haha:

I’d like to see alternative helmet used on occasion like the one similar to my avatar..
