Boldt finally gets the first hit for the Huskers with a single up the middle and then he steals 2nd. Placzek walks to put runners on 1st and 2nd. Miller flies out to deep CF. Boldt advances to 3rd but Placzek is thrown out at 2nd on a questionable call while trying to tag at from 1st. Schreiber grounds out to end the inning.

Schreiber with a 2 RBI single to LF as both Boldt and Placzek score!!! Runners on 1st and 2nd. Meyers walks to load the bases again and a new pitcher enters the game for LM.
Fish K's, Schlepp grounds out to end the inning.

Back to back against South Dakota State and also later against Texas and Wichita State.
