How is this guy viewed by Husker fans? He left MSU out of his top 25 which seems strange...especially from someone covering the Big 10. Predicts Mich St will be 7-5..wow!

So you only watch games because of what someone else tells you?
Just curious.
Matt Schick had us at 7 wins last year too and damn if that didn't rustle my jimmies.Honestly, if Sam McKeown thinks Michigan State is going to take a step back, they will.
The dude basically called Nebraska a 7 win team prior to last season, and he also thought the Spartans were the Class of the East a year ago.
His argument makes sense. He thinks MSU will have a year similar to 2012 again.
And yes, I'm in love with Sam McKewon.
Btw, he thinks Nebraska looks like a 10 win team this season.
I only care about Nebraska games....but my point is ..how can you determine who is the best team....based on what?
How can I, personally, determine which teams are the best?
I am confused with your point. Your original post said without preseason polls why would you watch any game or why a particular game was special.
I guess I would say name factors in quite a bit. Success from the previous season is also a factor. I have no desire to watch a top team blow out a smaller FCS team. I will watch LSU/ Wisconsin game even though I think Wisconsin finishes 7-5 and will be very average. So interregion games are usually interesting. But Boise St vs Washington, even if both are ranked, isn't all that interesting to me. As an example.
